Reminder-Next club meeting will be Monday January 4th Club Trips: Don't forget-We are going to Rome on January 15th thru 17th for our first trip! Tug Hill -Jan 29th thru 31st ***The Edge will not take a group block for this trip-so you will need to book your room in advance and there is no club group rate. THANK YOU! to those that planned and put together our Holiday Party at the Red Brick. Special Note-we are looking for some photos to dress up our website-if you have any pictures of club events & outings that you would like to share-please forward them to me at sgleeson@hvc.rr.com and remember to bring your camera to club meetings,gatherings and trips-lets show the rest of the world how we do things ;) See you next year! October 2009 NewsletterThe season has begun! Our first meeting was held Oct 9th. Apologies if you missed the email reminder, the new assistant secretary dropped the ball on that one! Reminders: Arctic Adventures open house weekend begins Oct 24th. Rider Safety Classes are going to be: Nov 14th at the West Hurley Fire house Club Dues are DUE NOW!! If you haven't registered your sleds, PLEASE do so BEFORE December so that the clubs can benefit from the funds before the season begins. Registration funds received after December do not reach the clubs until APRIL-way after they need that money for gas in the groomers! You can get your voucher for discount registration by joining or renewing membership on line at: www.nysnowmobiler.com or by sending your check to : Tawaeri Taqui Trailblazers NEXT MEETING: November 2nd Joe Long of the trip committee has put together some dates for Club trips: The first trip to The Beeches in Rome,NY will be January 15th thru 17th In the event of poor snow-Second trip is booked for Feb 26th & 27th A day trip to Lake George is planned for Feb 19-21, which is during the Winter Carnival and should be a great trip for kids and families! Tug Hill trip is planned for Jan 29-31 The cost of the VAST pass has been slightly reduced for those interested in riding Vermont. Non resident passes this year $110.00 if you get it BEFORE December 15th-after that it goes up to $145.00 The Christmas Dinner planning is in the works and we will keep you updated to location and date as soon as possible. To: Persons interested in Minnewaska State Park Preserve A public hearing for the Minnewaska State Park Preserve master plan will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the Lecture Center, Room 100 at SUNY New Paltz, New Paltz, NY. Persons may provide comments at the hearing or in writing no later than the end of the comment period – November 13, 2009.
